Refund Policy

1. Membership Fees

Assalamu Alaikum. Please be advised that all Annual Membership Fees for the Muslim Homeschooling Community of Greater Houston are non-refundable. These fees are used to cover the administrative costs of providing community resources, maintaining our website infrastructure, and coordinating local Houston area support.

2. Standardized Testing Fees

MHSC coordinates national standardized testing (such as the Stanford 10 and Iowa Achievement tests).

  • No Refunds: Once a test has been ordered through the national testing board for a specific student, the fees are non-refundable.
  • Registration: We encourage parents to verify their testing dates and student information carefully before submitting payment.

3. High School Graduation Fees

Fees associated with the annual High School Graduation Ceremony are non-refundable. These funds are immediately committed to venue bookings, diploma printing, and ceremonial supplies to ensure a dignified celebration for our seniors.

4. Community Events & Field Trips

For local Greater Houston field trips, park days, or workshops:

  • 7-Day Notice: Refunds may be requested if the cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled event.
  • Exclusions: Certain events involving pre-purchased group tickets (e.g., museum tours or specialized science workshops) may be non-refundable if the venue does not offer us a refund.

5. Record-Keeping & Documentation

Fees for specialized transcript preparation or expedited documentation services are non-refundable once the administrative work has commenced.
